On August 31, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry – Van Lang University will celebrate its 5th anniversary with a memorable series of events, including the Smiling Rackets VLU Open 2025 sports tournament and the Gala Dinner “Five Years Journey: Connecting and Expanding.” Let’s take a look at the unique and meaningful activities of this special event!

1. Smiling Rackets VLU Open 2025 (SRV) – A fun sports gathering

On August 31, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Faculty of Dentistry will organize the Smiling Rackets VLU Open 2025 (SRV) tournament at HHT Sport Complex (152 Hoang Hoa Tham, P. Bay Hien, HCMC). This special sporting event is not only for students, faculty members, and staff of Van Lang University but also welcomes dentists from other medical institutions who are passionate about sports and eager to connect with the community.

The tournament will feature sports such as badminton and pickleball – a sport that is increasingly gaining popularity worldwide. The matches will not only provide an opportunity for physical training but also serve as a chance for participants to demonstrate their sportsmanship, engage with others, and foster connections in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere.

2. Gala Dinner – Five Years Journey: Connecting and Expanding

In the evening of the same day, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Capella Park View Wedding & Conference Center (3 Dang Van Sam, P. Phu Nhuan, HCMC), the Gala Dinner “Five Years Journey: Connecting and Expanding” will take place. This important event will celebrate the achievements of the Faculty of Dentistry – Van Lang University over the past five years.

The dinner will be an opportunity for faculty members, doctors, students, parents, and all members of the Van Lang family to reflect on the development journey of the faculty, from its humble beginnings to the remarkable successes it enjoys today.
